now its time for ANTICIPATION.....

i jz received news that i have finally been allocated a room in Hall 13. was hesitating if i should take the room since sch has started for a few weeks already, but i reckoned it would be better for me to have a room anw.

besides, its gonna be useful for in between lesson breaks and definitely a place nearer to sch for lessons starting at 0830 the next day and not forgetting the exam period. $160 bucks for a month, double room with no air con. hopefully, i can figure out the notes in hall without any distractions.

was wondering hows my room-mate gonna be like when i collected the keys. the guy in the hall office was encouraging me not to be too pessimistic (seriously think my worst fear is coming true..) went to the room, but he aint around. and it pretty much seems like he's from china. has a luggage bag and his table have a considerable amount of chinese stuff.

anw, shouldn be that bad since there wasnt a foul smell in the room, pretty clean floor and jz a overloaded dustbin thats all. and he has a fridge too. oh, there's nutting inside save for a few pears. i foresee an enjoyable time with him. because when i wrote him a note asking him to reply me back, his return msg was cordial and friendly, coupled with a 'hee'......... do guys heehee?

my hall 16A #03-04

jz when emmy and geri blogging bout their big move to hall 16 for the next coming sem, i have to most reluctantly to move out of there. didn't manage to get re-admission into hall due to lack of eca pts, sigh.


still remenber that time, hall 16 was spanking brand new. it was so not very attractive due to the $240 per month for a double room which aint cheap. but me yinkai decided to apply anw for we desired tt hall stay experience. and cool, we did get Hall 16 in the end. and our allocated unit was #03-04.

haha and we tried a 4D punt on 0304 but it came out 0404 first prize instead. omg! and since then, we have been 'blaming' the unit above us for hindering our golden luck. lol.

suddenly feel like im being rolled back the past. whenever i pass by hall 16 now, i will be reminded of my prev 2nd home. the usual walk back frm my school to hall, used to grumble on the slope up from north spine back to hall (lol) esp during scorching hot weather, den thro the gate (yeah, hall 16 is like a prison. everywhere is gates, only accessible by an electronic card), past the lift and back to my 03-04.

but some things made hall 16 special. the close distance to my school (i could wake up at 0820 and still make it to lab on time at 0830), the fresh new smell of the hall plus the convenience of staying out late and return back to hall anytime. Numerous mahjong sessions on my bed and the start of my increasing dislike for Jurong Point. Continuation of my running habits at ntu during night time, wearing of any lock cock clothings to classes without bothering how i look.

and 2 things stood out the most for me during my stay there...

1) the development of something special for geri.. i got to know her more and grown to like her more. lots of memories, like the rooftop, nightly walks/runs, distance to her was jz 300m away =) its been a long endurance race, even if i had to suffer heartbreak in the middle of the race, i didnt mind.



2) the strengthening of frenzship bond with yinkai. those laughter, those jokes, and those horsing ard whilst doing daily activities.

i've heard people complaining bout their roomie, but i've nothing but praise and gratefulness for him. he's such a neat guy la, doesn't throw things about, or jz simply mess the room up and most importantly, doesn't mind my frens staying over.

brought my tv/xbox to hall to entertain us when we r bored. it was kinda funny trying to adjust the external antenna frm the window always! to get the most perfect reception. see how we have to position the antenna in such an awkward manner. and our usual mee goreng for supper.

heh, laundry time. most of the time, i'm pretty lazy to go and wash. so i will jz conveniently dump my dirty clothes into the blue thingy (wads it called anw), dirty clothes holder? haha. anw yinkai is ever so kind to help wash our clothes by making a trip down to the washing machine point and hang out to dry thereafter!


heh, those cleaning stuff needed for maintenance of the room and yup, i got 2 other chairs into the room to accomodate my friends. places to go in hall include the pantry and the comfy tv lounge where we spent our nights usually to watch good frequency TV. oh yeah, took a photo with the cleaning auntie of our block also. she's so damn nice la, never fail to greet me at anytime of the day.

so after one semester of stay, its finally time to leave. had quite a tedious time packing up my barang barang and stuffing them into cab b4 dumping back into my house. look at the difference between the fully filled room and the vacant one when we first arrived into the room. cya hall 16, block 16A, unit 03-04.

yinkai's missing underwear chapter 2

i'm late for lab again! urgh, hate to rush, sometimes, i dun even know wad i might have forgotten to bring when i'm flustered and running late. the problem with me is tt, i can set the freaking alarm damn early, but upon looking at the time when i wake up, i'll be thinking.. aye.. juz 5 more mins.. and $£%&^%$!"£ mebbe a loudhailer will realli be damn useful. aha.

today, woke up at 7am. and lab starts at 0830. the next thing i felt, i was kicked in my butt by yinkai, and he screamed 'jy, 0840 liao, u have lab!'

piang eh, realli sai liao. quickly changed, dumped my lab coat and manual into my bag, not forgetting my toothbrush with toothpaste on it. of coz the toothbrush is not for expt, i'm not gonna go back my room after brushing, instead, settle it on route to lab, haha. and wads the best thing of staying in hall 16? coz my school is across the road.. aww, so good,haha. i reached the lab at 0850. whew, i'm late by 20 mins. but after seeing how slow, draggy, boring the lab was proceeding, i would have rather strolled there.

oh, and i juz wanna mention that i hate labs, sometimes, i cant imagine myself donning a lab coat and be so puzzled at those weirdos machines, apparatus, samples. totally clueless man. IA's gonna be a torture for me. i will lurve it if i can buy kopi o for my boss and juz slack somewhere in the office and ZzzZzz.

so wads up with yinkai's underwear again? as usual, its laundry time. standard procedure la, dump the clothes into washing machine and let the churning motions begin. and juz return after an hour to pick up the clothes. den hang it out to dry. sounds damn straightforward right?

but aha. no! his underwear got nicked. for pple who stay hall, its not surprising to find your washed clothes on top of the washing machines coz other pple wanna use too. tts wad happened, but doesnt matter to me anw. aint gals clothings also, who the hell wanna take it, unless there are lots of Broke Backers in 16A. as usual, we were hanging our clothes out to dry when he realized, "hey! where's my underwear" aha.

due to the prev episode of his missing underwears which i was partly responsible, i immediately claimed innocence! realli, haha, i wasnt the one who punked with his underwear this time round. i remenbered very clearly that i took everything oredi, unless the idiot who took our clothes frm the machine forgot to check properly whether the machine has been emptied b4 he dumped his own clothes in. or simply, he's a brokebacker.

oh well. i went back to take a look and the machine which we used was sucking out the water to dry, so i took a peep into that guy's clothes. hmm, multicolour stuff, lots of 'lock cock' clothes also, nm, i cant differentiate also. anw, yinkai jz kept on lamenting bout his loss..

after lunch, we decided to take a look again at the laundry. haha presto, his underwear sits proudly there on top of the washing machine, glows like a trophy man. haha, well done, the guy muz have realized' hey wad's this man! '

me and my yinkai's missing underwears

quite an embarrasing incident. yinkai asked me: how come my 2 underwears are at ur leg there when i woke up this morning? aha.. at first, i pleaded innocence. why would i wanna take his underwears.

he said he put them on his chair next to my bed to dry thro'out the night, next morning, he woke up to find them missing, turned the whole room upside down.... (no wonder, he was so noisy in the morning) till he finally saw his stuff. haha, at.. see picture on the right.

still denying all allegations when suddenly, i rem that in my dream, i took some cloth material frm somewhere and dumped it behind me. haha.. its damn funny, told him i only took and threw away, didn't do any funny experiments on it, most prob i was experiencing a some sleepwalking. but he still reckons i did something (those suspicious looks).

mebbe there was a funny irritating smell emitting from there since he put the chair next to my head, so i decided to get rid of them. haha.. i gave tons of nonsensical excuses before we juz burst into laughter.
